About Rae A. Stonehouse

With a rich career spanning over four decades in psychiatric and mental health nursing, Rae brings compassionate insights and profound wisdom to his writing. As a distinguished member of Toastmasters International for over 29 years, he has honed his communication skills, enabling him to create books and courses that are both informative and deeply relatable.

Rae’s unique style combines conversational ease with wry humor and sage advice, drawing from a lifetime of experiences in nursing, personal growth, and creative pursuits. Although retired from nursing, he continues to thrive as a writer, speaker, and mentor, empowering others to realize their full potential.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Rae is an avid gardener and do-it-yourselfer who has renovated three older homes and worked with contractors to create three new homes. He resides in picturesque Kelowna, British Columbia, with his wife Sandra, a fellow retired nurse, their son Jeffrey, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and granddaughter Maybelle.

Founded over fifteen years ago, LFEP began as an event planning venture and home to Mr. Emcee, a local Master of Ceremonies service. Recognizing changing market dynamics, Rae pivoted to focus on writing and self-publishing, transforming LFEP into a comprehensive platform for books, courses, and coaching services.

Today, LFEP proudly hosts multiple online destinations including this store, along with Live For Excellence Productions, Empowering Tips for Success, and Live For Excellence Academy.
